The Key to the Carpathian Recipe

Apply the measurements in 250 ml cups.

How to Make a Carpathian?

1- Boil the water, butter and salt in a small pot for the dough over medium heat. Add flour to the mixture, stirring, cook the dough until excess water and lumps are gone.

2- This process may take 3-5 minutes. Put the dough in another container to cool.

3- Mix baking soda and baking eggs with mixed eggs. Spread half of the dough on a molded sheet with greaseproof paper and do not flatten it too much.

4- Bake in a 190-200 degree oven for 30 minutes until golden brown. Remove the cooked dough from the mold and cool at room temperature. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining half.

5- For the cream, mix all the ingredients except butter and put them on the stove. Whisk on medium heat constantly, whisk until you get the pudding consistency.

6- Remove the thick cream from the stove and sprinkle with a stretch film to prevent crusting.

7- Beat the soft butter at room temperature, add the cream little by little and make it homogeneous and smooth.

8- Put one of the doughs baked on the bottom of the mold, cover the mold, pour the entire cream to cover the dough, flatten it and finally gently press the other dough.

9- Rest your cake in the fridge for at least 3 hours until the cream hardens. Take the cake out of the mold and sprinkle it with powdered sugar and serve.

Hope you will enjoy it.
