Anectod by Sir Arthur Doyle
By Ashley Riley
Holmes is camping with Watson. Holmes wakes up late at night and he pokes his assistant.
“Watson,” he says.
“Look up to the sky and tell me what you see.”
“I see millions of stars, Holmes,” says Watson.
“Well, what do you conclude from this, Watson?”
Watson thinks a little, he says, “Well,” he says,
“Astronomically, I conclude that there are billions of planets. astrologically I see Saturn entering the sign of Leo.
I can predict that temporally it has passed about a quarter of the clock.
I can infer that he was omnipotent and that we were tiny.
Well, what conclusion did you come to, Holmes? ”
“Someone stole our tent, my friend.”
